Today's sunrise demands consideration of the meaning of "amazing" ...

An athlete who sets a world record in a marathon is not necessarily "amazing" - a 98-year-old woman who completes a 5-kilometer marathon in less than an hour is amazing.
A 25-year-old man who climbs to the summit of Mount Everest in record time is not necessarily "amazing" - the Sherpa guide who helped him do it and has climbed the mountain 32 times in his life is amazing.

The sunrise today is certainly amazing in its beauty ... but in my opinion it does not come close to the beauty of people who invest, and even risk, their lives in order to help others.
