About the Impact Partners Directory

Over the years, and especially in the last few years, I have been approached by a good number of people who are searching for organizations and programs that are making real and effective efforts in order to make the world a better place. Some ask about those dealing with very specific local issues, while others are looking for something with a broader impact. What is common to all is that they want to know that if they volunteer their time or their money to an organization or program, that their investment WILL go towards the professed goals.

The HalfTheGlass Impact Partners Directory is my answer to those that have approached me in the past, and to any others that the Directory may aid in their search for such sources.

All the information offered in the Directory comes directly from the official websites of the organizations themselves (edited, if necessary, only because of space limitations), with active links to those websites, with the exception information appearing in the clearly marked “personal experience” box in which I give witness to the activities and reliability of the organizations and programs that I personally contribute to or have had dealings with.

The Directory is divided into groups based upon their outreach (worldwide / locality oriented, broad subject spectrum / focused issues, etc.) to make your search as easy as possible.

While I promise to follow and update information concerning all of the organizations and programs listed here to the best of my abilities and time limitations, I cannot fully guarantee that all the data appearing here is completely up-to-date, nor can I guarantee the truth or intent of the data published by the organizations themselves.

I am very much interested in receiving feedback and information from any and all concerning the organizations listed here (especially in cases of mistaken or misleading information), and/or of other organizations that you may know of that you think should be included in the Directory.
